You are required to subscribe to the class list server since it offers everyone to share time-sensitive news about the course. To do this, send an email message to the address:

with the following one-line message in the body of the email:

You will then receive an acknowledgment that will provide instructions on how to unsubscribe from the list among other information.

After you subscribe to the list server, you can send messages to all other subscribers by sending email to:

econ121f2004@lists.berkeley.edu

Note that the list server will not be monitored: it is up to individual students to adhere to basic netiquette.
