The All-California Labor Economics Conference brings together the top labor economists in California annually to present recent research. This year's conference will be hosted by UC Berkeley on Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19. Hilary Hoynes and Jesse Rothstein are co-organizing. The local planning committee consists of Hoynes, Rothstein, Michael Anderson, David Card, and Michael Reich.
Prior conferences have been hosted by UCSD, UC Davis, UCLA, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, RAND, and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Similar to previous conferences, there will be 8-10 papers presented at the conference, starting Thursday afternoon and ending early afternoon on Friday. There will also be a graduate student poster session, reception, and dinner on Thursday evening.
The conference will cover meals, as well as hotel on Thursday night, for all registered participants (note that graduate students will be asked to share rooms). Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
